Retirement Planning and Investment Events
University Human Resources and the campus UPB Benefits Services offices offer a series of FREE Retirement Planning and Investment Events to provide information on SURS and the University of Illinois Supplemental 403(b) Retirement Plan. The SURS and 403(b) representatives will lead the seminar discussions.
Please note that some, but not all events, are approved events under Civil Service Policy and Rules, Rule 11.12. Refer to the specific event invitation for details.

Representatives from TIAA-CREF and Fidelity regularly provide One-on-One Counseling sessions at each campus for both the 403(b) Plan and the SURS Self-Management Plan (SMP). See the Retirement & Investment Plans page for a dates and locations.

This conference is not an approved event for excused time; therefore, employees who attend during scheduled work hours must obtain prior approval from their supervisor and use leave time in accordance with University policy.
