Up to 2 hours or more of paid leave may be granted to donate blood platelets in accordance with recognized standards, not to exceed 24 times in a 12 month period. While on blood or blood platelet donor leave, employees continue to receive the same State and University benefits as when actively working. All State-paid contributions continue.
