Employees Working For the University Outside of Illinois - due to significant tax, legal, and other implications, OBFS Policy Section 18.16 requires compliance with relevant laws for working in other states or countries. Units must ensure steps outlined in OBFS Policy Section 1.5.1 have been completed prior to hiring or allowing an employee to work in a state other than Illinois or in a foreign country.
